Ali Modiri DDS
General and Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Modiri is a graduate of New York University, College of Dentistry in 2002 and completed a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Montrose campus of the Veterans Affairs Hospital in 2003. Dr. Modiri has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in Stamford Connecticut and New York since 2003.

Dr. Modiri practices all aspects of general dentistry including smile enhancement utilizing the latest technologies in ceramic dentistry, invisible braces and implant restorations. He also practices all aspects of general dentistry including endodontics (root canal therapy) and periodontics (gum treatment). Dr. Modiri’s most endearing quality is his personal attention and care for his patients. His calm demeanor puts his patients at ease, making their dental visit more enjoyable and less stressful: “I want my patients to feel like they are one of my family members.” His attention to detail and work ethic make him a valuable member of the team at Stamford Dental Arts.

Dr. Modiri regularly attends lectures and seminars in advanced technologies in restorative dentistry to keep abreast of the latest treatment options available in the industry.

When Dr. Modiri is not pursuing his passion for dentistry, he enjoys spending his time with his wife Marjan and daughters Sophie and Madelyn. He enjoys playing tennis, soccer, snowboarding and mountain biking.
Marjan Moghadam DDS, MA
Dr. Moghadam completed her dental degree at NYU in 2002. She completed a General Practice Residency program at Long Island College Hospital in 2003 and then earned her certificate in prosthodontics and masters degree in psychology from NYU as well.

As a prosthodontist, Dr. Moghadam is able to manage and perform complex dental treatment involving full mouth rehabilitation with crowns, bridges, implants and/or dentures. She is also a clinical assistant professor at New York University College of Dentistry, in the department of Prosthodontics where she serves as co-director of Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics.
Magdalena Miskowiak, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Magdalena is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She completed her degree at the Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 2015, the first and prestigious school that established dental hygiene as a profession worldwide. Magdalena’s role at Stamford Dental Arts is to promote oral hygiene by providing oral prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, application of sealants and fluoride treatment, whitening procedures, administration of locally applied antibiotics and therapeutic agents, oral cancer screening, and patient education. She received an award for excellence in chair side education and is a member of the honor society Sigma Phi Alpha. Magdalena’s goal is to treat each patient with attention to detail and to deliver the best quality dental care. Her friendly and caring attitude makes each appointment comfortable and pleasant which is truly appreciated by her patients. In her spare time she enjoys family time with her husband and two children, reading, hiking, camping and listening to classical music.
